PowerSchool - New Plug-in Security Protocols

6. What if I am unsure whether my plugins will be impacted?
|
Plugins that authenticate a third party into a PowerSchool SIS instance or that involve a third party in the exchange of customer data have the potential to introduce a security risk. PowerSchool is actively engaging non-compliant vendors to support them in reaching compliance.
|
Plugins that are not authenticating using OAuth and that are not exchanging customer data with a third party will not be impacted.

Please Note: PSCB Development Plugins Status

- PSCB plugins are not authenticating using OAuth, and they are not exchanging customer data with a third party.
- PSCB Development plugins do not provide any third-party access to your PowerSchool server or data and will not be impacted by the new plug-in security protocols.
|
PSCB Subscription - New Usernames
A new username has been assigned to the current primary contact for all subscription-based school districts. This username contains a district identification component.
|
This will also be the permanent district account username/customer number. Contact and Account Payable information can be modified for the account as needed.
|
You can use either the new username or email address along with your current password to complete the login process.
|
|

PSCB Subscription - Renewal Invoice / License Key
PSCB Development has completed the process of sending subscription renewal invoices and license keys to all school districts with a currently active subscription.
|
|
To ensure delivery confirm that your mail server is not blocking the following email addresses:
|
admin@rastechpscb.com
pscb@pscbdevelopment.com
|
Upon receipt, please enter the renewal license key contained in the email you received to extend your subscription for 1 year. Navigate to the following location in PowerSchool to update the license key:
|
- System Management / PSCB DEV Pro Custom Reports Management / License Key Registration.
|
Subscription and License Key information is now available on your account dashboard. Select the Account link in the upper-right corner of the website's Home Page to view the Dashboard.

PSCB Subscription - Payment Options
ACH Bank Transfer (Preferred Payment Method)
If your payment choice is ACH Bank Transfer, please send your ACH Bank Transfer authorization form to admin@rastechpscb.com. A completed form will be sent to your Business Office.
